ICE’s aim is to bring a range of high quality affordable entertainment to our local community.

After having enjoyed many small theatre productions at numerous village halls in Lincs, Notts and Leics I decided to investigate running similar in Irnham or close by. A team of supporters and helpers was established. Jamie Benton Jones very kindly offered us use of Irnham Hall’s wedding venue. We settled on the name of Irnham Community Entertainment – ICE and made some initial plans.

ICE is a not for profit organisation. Any cash surplus made is being used to acquire equipment to enable a wider variety of performers. A 5x3m stage being our first purchase.

Our first show was held in summer 2021.

Some of the shows are part funded via Live & Local. Live & Local obtain grant funding from South Kesteven Council and the Arts Council. Funding is becoming more challenging as grants reduce and the number of organisations seeking funding increases. Since 2022 ICE has organised many shows direct with performers.

Engagement and support from local residents is key to the ongoing success of ICE. If anyone would like to know more about ICE or has any suggestions please feel free to contact me using
