Ringing For VE 80
As part of the Parish VE Day celebrations the Irnham ringers are planning to ring a Quarter Peal. This will be on Thursday 8th May. Starting at 3.30pm with our ringing lasting for around 45 minutes.
In 1945 we had five bells in a minor key. In 2004 we added a sixth bell and our bells became a major keyed ring. We will be ringing the old minor five for the quarter, so listen out for the sound on 1945.
